Reading, United Kingdom: AIT Partnership Group Ltd has been contacted by several journalists in the last few days regarding IT failures at British Airways and we wish to make clear that although we have previously provided software and professional services to BA we have had no involvement in the running of their data centers and we have no knowledge of the cause of the recent incident.
For several years our only engagement has been via a third party to provide basic software support and bug fixes for their Sunbird dcTrack software. Like other Data Centre Infrastructure Management experts we can only speculate on why this happened and sympathise with the unfortunate passengers who have suffered as a result.
AIT provides guidance, consultancy, professional services and solutions to help many other organisations improve the resilience, capacity and efficiency of their data centres but we have not been engaged by BA in this capacity for over 5 years.
About AIT Partnership Group Limited:
AIT delivers trusted advice and technological solutions to hundreds of enterprises in the public and private sector providing Visibility, Analytics and Control of Network, Mobility and Cyber Security solutions and Physical Infrastructure at the edge and in the data centre.
