How to claim back 100% of the costs of AIT Power Manager
The cost of purchasing and installing the AIT Power Manger solution can be totally written off by the Enhanced Capital Allowance (ECA) scheme which provides 100% tax relief. Because the AIT Power Manager meets all the requirements of the ECA scheme you can apply for a 100% tax write off of the cost. As long as your organisations profits match or exceed the cost of the AIT Power Manager you will be able to claim back the total cost invested in it. A great solution that saves you money and doesn’t cost a penny! It sounds too good to be true? But for once it isn’t. See the details below or visit HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) for more information.
The Enhanced Capital Allowance (ECA) scheme
The Enhanced Capital Allowance (ECA) scheme is a key part of the Government’s programme to manage climate change. It provides businesses with enhanced tax relief for investments in equipment that meets published energy-saving criteria
100 per cent first-year Enhanced Capital Allowances (ECA) allow the full cost of an investment in designated energy-saving plant and machinery to be written off against the taxable profits of the period in which the investment is made. The general rate of capital allowances for spending on plant and machinery is 25% a year on the reducing balance basis.
ECA claims should be submitted as part of your normal corporate or income tax return. For more information please refer to HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC).
